Voice Acting Work
We are currently casting for a voice/acting reference shoot scheduled for appx May 30 & 31, with extension possible June 1 2026 (Dates may be pushed back depending on scheduling), in the Bray/Wicklow or Dublin area, TBD based on who is available and where. I wanted to reach out to see if you have any recent graduates or senior students you would personally recommend for this.
Project Overview The pilot follows a young elf female protagonist, a reluctant messiah type of character at the center of a complex, fantasy world. We are casting Irish actors for the principal court (all roles require a natural Irish accent). This intensive is focused on capturing foundational voice and acting performance.
Production Status This is an active production in development, not a speculative project.
Engagement Terms & On-Set Support
Session Compensation: €150 per 6-hour reference block (inclusive of initial camera setup, rehearsal, and regular breaks). This is a small budget at the moment, but we can discuss better compensation for the right fit. Credits in film if desired.
On-Set Support: High-protein craft services.
On-Screen Credits & Future Engagement:
The Core Performance Engagement: This session will actively capture and utilize the performers' full physical acting, vocal tracks, and facial expressions as the primary data engine driving our digital character workflows. All participating performers will receive an official screen-pilot credit for their voice and performance reels if utilized.
The Face Likeness Option: While the vocal track and acting data will be used directly in the final digital render, the production retains a separate option regarding the performer’s physical facial likeness. If the production chooses to utilize the performer’s exact visual facial likeness for the final on-screen character model, the talent will receive an upgraded "On-Screen Principal Cast" credit and a secondary, negotiated likeness-usage fee.
Compliance Requirements: In accordance with current 2026 digital asset guidelines, all participating talent must sign a standard NDA and an ethically narrow, project-specific AI Performance & Dataset Release Waiver prior to entering the capture zone. This waiver explicitly bars general AI model training or third-party synthetic voice cloning.
If you have any exceptional recent alumni or advanced students who match this profile and have full availability for the May 30- June 1 window, we would be incredibly grateful if you could share this opportunity internally or forward their Spotlight profiles directly to us.
We are happy to provide the script pages and character breakdowns post-NDA. Thank you for your time and your continued dedication to the craft of technical performance. Volume of lines and scenes expected is relatively low and we will record a realistic number of well executed scenes, and can follow up with more shoots as needed. Professional camera people will be there to film on cinematic cameras and equipment.
LEAD ELF — FEMALE. Late teens to early 20s playable. Irish accent. Brown/Red hair preferred. The protagonist. A young elf carrying the full emotional throughline of the pilot — domestic warmth with her family, an intimate friendship with her closest confidante, dreamlike disorientation in visions, and a devastating central breakup. Looking for exceptional vocal range, instinctive emotional honesty, and the rare ability to hold a scene through stillness. She has a crying breakdown that is quite dramatic. Ongoing work possible.
LEAD ELF — MALE. Mid-20s to mid-30s playable. Blonde or fair-haired preferred. Irish accent. A young elven lord and the lead's beloved. Begins as a passionate, principled young man; reveals something more calculated underneath as the pilot progresses. The most dangerous kind of schemer — one who has constructed a version of events in which he is the hero. Looking for an actor who can hold sincerity and self-interest in the same breath. Love affair with the female lead (need to film kissing)
SUPPORTING ELF — MOTHER. Female. 40s–50s playable. Irish accent. Maternal anchor of the household. Ice-haired, patient, vibrant, funny, witty — later devastated by her daughter's disappearance. Looking for warmth that can break into grief without sentimentality.
SUPPORTING ELF — FATHER. Male. 40s–50s playable. Irish accent. The household's emotional ballast. A musician. Keeps things functioning through impossible worry — forces brightness, makes the bread, comforts his wife when she breaks. Looking for quiet warmth and the ability to let his voice go thick without going big. Witty.
SUPPORTING ELF — CONFIDANTE. Female. Late teens / early 20s playable. Irish accent. A young elven scholar and the lead's dearest friend. Soft-spoken by nature; grief and discovery strip the softness as the pilot unfolds. Translates forbidden ancient texts by candlelight while her parents grow afraid of what she's reading. The conscience of the back half. Looking for stillness, intelligence, and the capacity to carry a scene through quiet rather than volume.
SUPPORTING ELF — ROYAL. Female. 50s–70s playable. Irish accent. A reigning monarch. Millennia of wisdom, distracted exterior, steel beneath. Receives the worst possible news with impeccable precision. Looking for natural regality, comfort with formal cadence, and the ability to suggest centuries of memory behind a glance.
SUPPORTING ELF — ELDER COUNCIL. Male. 60s+ playable. Irish accent. Head of a senior advisory council. Measured, weary, genuinely trying to do right in a situation with no good options. Looking for gravitas — moral exhaustion that doesn't lose authority.
CHARACTER ROLE —Leprechaun, older. Male. Character age open. Irish accent. A folkloric figure who becomes the lead's guide through a chaotic underground marketplace. Cautious, mischievous, ultimately fragile. Looking for a versatile character actor — strong comic instincts paired with the ability to land genuine pathos.
